The Woodford W34 (orange head) non-freeze yard hydrant is intended for irrigation purposes and offers immediate water flow even in sub-zero temperatures. The W34 can be used for many applications such as filling field spray equipment, cleaning equipment or tools, livestock watering, garden and lawn care. The shut-off valve for the hydrant is below the frost line when installed properly, which allows the water in the standpipe to drain out a hole in the valve body. When the hydrant is shut-off, and all devices removed from nozzle, the hydrant will drain and not freeze. The Woodford W34 has a 1-in (1-5/16-in O.D.) galvanized steel pipe casing. • Tamper proof lock, can be padlocked in closed position by inserting padlock or bolt through hole in link

• One-piece variable flow plunger assures shut-off, even when foreign particles are present in the water line

• Long life valve seat – special shape – large contact area eliminates need for renewable nylon seat

• All repairs can be made at the top of the unit without removing hydrant from the ground

• Graphite packing for lubricity and long life
