Description
Tall Phlox, botanically known as Phlox paniculata or commonly as garden phlox, is native to North America. Phlox is a staple in the perennial garden as it mixes easily with other plants and provides extended blooms throughout the summer. Regardless of the color, garden phlox rich in nectar, is fragrant and attracts pollinators, especially hummingbirds. Vigorous grower with sturdy stems which withstand adverse weather conditions. A perennial which if planted USDA zone (4-8) appropriate will return for years to come, reaching maturity in year three. There is not much written and known about Phlox Orchid Green besides its elegant unique coloring, which coloration in green hues is next to impossible to describe. No other Phlox like it.
