With a knot count of 200 per square inch and a pile height of 0.25 inches this rug is made to last. Regular vacuuming and professional cleaning will keep the rug looking new for years to come. The majority of the weavers are women who live in the villages of Afghanistan Pakistan and India. By supporting these artisans we are able to create more jobs for female weavers who might not have otherwise had this opportunity. The community also benefits from rug weaving as the local farmers benefit from wool sales and local artisans create natural and vegetable dyes for the weavers to use in their designs.
