Heriz is a city located in northwestern Iran and near the city of Tabriz and Heriz rugs are very famous worldwide. They have their own very unique style and are easily distinguishable. The rug is 100 percent wool with vegetable dyes. The pile height is 0.25 inches. The knot count (KPSI) is 160 . Regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning will keep your rug looking new for years to come. The majority of the weavers are women who live in the villages of Afghanistan Pakistan and India. As we grow we are able to create more jobs for female weavers who otherwise would not have the opportunity to do so.
