Colors include salmon blue ivory gray and olive.Story Behind the Art:This particular rug was created in the Varanasi region of India in the Bhadohi village where weavers re-create the original Heriz design. The symmetric and geometric pattern of the Heriz has been extremely popular in the US and Europe. Since the rugs are tribal they are made of 100% wool pile and vegetable dyes. Due to the handmade nature of our rugs the size may vary from as advertised by 3-4 inches. Regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning will keep your rug looking new for years to come. The majority of the weavers are women who live in the villages of Afghanistan Pakistan and India. As we grow we are able to create more jobs for female weavers who otherwise would not have the opportunity to do so.
